C2 RIBS offer RIB Charters, RIB Hire, RIB experiences and RIB Rides on The South Coast. Each RIB Charter, RIB Hire is on fully safety coded Rigid Inflatable Boat for your safety. Each RIB Hire is tailored to your specification whether out with friends, corporate clients, family or just watching a sailing or powerboat event C2 RIBS have the boat for you. Our aim is to ensure you have the best day ever on the water.
C2 RIBS is a privately owned and run RIB charter business based in The Solent waters of the South of England and licensed to operate up to 20 miles from any safe haven. We have been involved in boating for over thirty years having been involved in dinghy racing, yachts and safety boats. We are still windsurfing after 30 years. We have a passion for all watersports and will work hard to ensure you gain some of our passion.
Recent charters include a large yacht training company based on The South Coast for Cowes week.
7 identical Ribeye boats to a national financial group and 9 RIBs to a leading electronics company.
We work alongside some of the best equipped yachts and motor cruisers and we are their preferred RIB Charter company.
History and Safety information:-
2011 has closed and we have moved on from our first boats in 2005 which were all sold by the end of 2008 after improving all the craft and equipment to the highest standards locally to ensure everyones' safety. Safety is the key word for us. From helms to boats and equipment we look for the best at all times.
Our Ribeye 785s are equipped to very high standards and comfort with every safety feature, all set by the Marine and Coastguard Agency (MCA) MCA link. The boats are fitted with a VHF emergency radio system and also handheld VHF, there is a satellite positioning system with mapping and also a hand held global positioning unit. The boats comply with legislation to ensure safety of all passengers and crew, and are annually inspected and licensed. All safety equipment is regularly inspected for your safety and certificated each year. All boats we use are to this high specification with annual inspections. All equipment and liferaft are inspected and checked along with lifejackets. C2 RIBS are also members of The Professional Charter Association.
Another new boat for 2012 is a Ribtec 655, again to the same high standards having sold our Ribtec 585 at the end 2011. This RIB which is coded again but for a maximum of six persons specifically aimed at the training world and smaller groups to ensure you get the best boat and equipment for your safety and learning environment. As with all our craft this has up to-date safety equipment and has been inspected and certified for use by The RYA and The MCA. We can use this craft for small charter groups or even for photography work or support, safety and survey as the craft has excellent sea going capabilities. Maintenance is kept to the highest standards.
Your safety is our first consideration and this will not be compromised whilst you and your guests are aboard any of our vessels. This is a standard you should expect from us as PCA members. We will deliver "value for money" charters in all aspects. Our vessels will be fully compliant with all Regulatory Authorities.
The boats used all operate with Marine Charter insurance and all helms work to a strict health and safety policy which is always under review for your safety and comfort.
All skippers have very good knowledge and experience, all have certification under Royal Yachting Association (RYA ) boat training along with commercial endorsements as well as sea survival courses, first aid and VHF use. Some of our helms also have the additional safety boat training and Yacht Master Offshore qualifications and are Powerboat Instructors. All these certifications are for everyone’s safety and comfort.
