About Us
C2 RIBS is a privately owned and run RIB charter business based in The Solent waters of the South of England and licensed to operate by the MCA to very high safety standards. We can work from any location such as Lymington, Southampton, Cowes, Portsmouth or name a location you wish the RIBs to be.
The Solent is one of the most popular coastal areas of Britain. On the doorstep to The New Forest and stretches some 25 to 30 miles from Hurst Point in the West towards Chichester Harbour in the East, it offers a wide variety of cruising. The Solent is the International centre for yachting and hosts many major sailing and power boat events throughout the year.
There are many marinas on this stretch of water, with each port and town worth visiting -from Southampton with its busy docks where the world’s largest cruise liners visit, to quaint harbour towns such as Yarmouth on The Isle of Wight for lunch. Each charter is personally tailored to your requests to visit such famous sites such as The Needles at the North Western end of the Isle of Wight, The Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth or just sight seeing in picturesque rivers such as the Beaulieu River into The New Forest or the Lymington River.
Our new craft is capable of carrying up to twelve persons and with a Marine and Coastguard Agency(MCA) licence to operate safely up to twenty miles. We can cater for larger parties using very similar craft operating under strict safety guidelines
Our aim to give everyone a fantastic time on the water either watching a major event, for instance a round the World Yacht race, a major powerboat race or supporting major clients such as The Skandia Cowes week sailing event.

Past charters include working for Skandia Cowes week supporting Skandia corporate boats from power launches to tall ships, Volvo Ocean in port race 2006 and P1 Powerboat race support boat. P1.link. On the water is without a doubt the best place to see any sailing or boating event.
History and Safety information
The boats we operate are set to very high standards and comfort with every safety feature. The boats are all fitted with VHF emergency radio system and also handheld VHF, there is satellite positioning system with mapping and also hand held global positioning unit. The boats complies with legislation to ensure safety of all passengers and crew, and is annually inspected and licensed. All the latest safety equipment is regularly inspected for your safety. Our main craft have a CD and Radio system for on board entertainment.
The skippers have certification under Royal Yachting Association boat handling and sea survival, first aid and VHF use. All these certifications are for everyone’s safety and comfort and the licences are commercially endorsed. We have full charter insurance cover.
